Other European Research Funding Opportunities

Research funding opportunities on the European level can be found in “Opportunities for Researchers from the Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in Horizon 2020". This freshly updated document has 229 pages of potential humanities and social science topics in all parts of Horizon 2020 – in  the Societal Challenges, in Industrial Leadership and Excellent Science. “Opportunities” is regularly compiled by Net4Society, the network of SSH NCPs (National Contact Points for Societal Challenge 6, Europe in a changing world).  It aims at facilitating access for SSH researchers into the numerous areas of the European research and innovation funding programme. This update covers the Horizon 2020 work programme 2017 and lists a couple of new topics dedicated to migration.

Researchers can also check the "Participant Portal" where the European Commission  has set up a quick finder for cross-cutting priorities and "flags" the topics with potential interest to SSH researchers.
